“This is the future of our children’s education!” Teachers, TAG Coordinators and 50 gifted learners from across Eastern Colorado came together for the launch of our new Classroom Coding, Robotics and Innovation STEAM Studio program in Limon on Friday. “We loved the hands-on STEAM, critical thinking, and the design thinking projects!” This full day STEAM immersion and teacher development program features our technology partners Makey Makey Innovation Kits and Microbric’s Edison Robots, then a student-driven design thinking and tech-integration workshop in our portable makerspace!

The projects were amazing, the process was inspiring, and this new program is by far the most effective teacher training model I have design or delivered in over twenty years in the business! I am truly proud of what the staff and I put together. “The sessions were packed with learning and everyone loved the makerspace…we just wished we had more time to build and play!” I agree with my colleagues and truly hope programs like this are the future of our children’s education!
